Lahore, November 26, 2015 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 28600 cusecs and Outflows 48000 cusecs, is as under:
Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 13800 cusecs and Outflows 13800 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 19300 cusecs and Outflows 35000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 10500 cusecs and Outflows 5000 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 68200 cusecs and Outflows 61200 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 51100 cusecs and Outflows 56000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 50900 cusecs and Outflows 43100 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 15700 cusecs and Outflows 5000 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 44600 cusecs and Outflows 37400 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 34500 cusecs and Outflows 5500 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 6000 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs ( Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1503.59 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 3.970 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1196.15 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 4.169 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 644.50 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.128 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
