Lahore, February 10, 2016 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under:-
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 16300 cusecs and Outflows 23000 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 11300 cusecs and Outflows 11300 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 11500 cusecs and Outflows 60000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 7300 cusecs and Outflows 2700 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 52700 cusecs and Outflows 45700 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 38600 cusecs and Outflows 32000 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 35800 cusecs and Outflows 30900 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 10400 cusecs and Outflows 4800 cusecs, Guddu: Inflows 26600 cusecs and Outflows 20900 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 24900 cusecs and Outflows 5600 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 11800 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1489.52 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 3.197 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1169 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 2.777 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 643.50 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.104 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
