Lahore, January 25, 2016 (PPI-OT): The position of the river inflows and outflows at Tarbela, Mangla and Chashma along with the reservoirs levels and the barrages today is as under :
Rivers: Indus at Tarbela: Inflows 16900 cusecs and Outflows 16900 cusecs, Kabul at Nowshera: Inflows 10800 cusecs and Outflows 10800 cusecs, Jhelum at Mangla: Inflows 7600 cusecs and Outflows 5000 cusecs, Chenab at Marala: Inflows 7800 cusecs and Outflows 7800 cusecs.
Barrages: Jinnah: Inflows 29900 cusecs and Outflows 29900 cusecs, Chashma: Inflows 34800 cusecs and Outflows 34800 cusecs, Taunsa: Inflows 21800 cusecs and Outflows 21800 cusecs, Panjnad: Inflows 8600 cusecs and Outflows 8300, Guddu: Inflows 45000 cusecs and Outflows 40300 cusecs, Sukkur: Inflows 32900 cusecs and Outflows 29100 cusecs, Kotri: Inflows 9000 cusecs and Outflows Nil.
Reservoirs (Level and Storage):
Tarbela: Minimum operating level 1380 feet, present level 1492.89 feet, maximum conservation level 1550 feet, live storage today 3.455 million acre feet (MAF).
Mangla: Minimum operating level 1040 feet, present level 1184.45 feet, maximum conservation level 1242 feet, live storage today 3.530 MAF.
Chashma: Minimum operating level 637 feet, present level 643 feet, maximum conservation level 649 feet, live storage today 0.093 MAF.
The inflows and outflows of River Indus at Tarbela and Chashma, River Kabul at Nowshera and River Jhelum at Mangla have been reflected as mean flows of 24 hours, whereas the other flows have been gauged at 6.00 a.m.
